About me
I love dogs and always have, my old childhood rescue mongrel, Smut, is in all of my early memories! I find dogs (and every animal) fascinating and intelligent, with senses beyond those we can associate with. I’m curious how they deal with their pains and troubles because they cannot verbalise to us what is wrong. It’s the reason I decided to go down a path of Galen Myotherapy as it enables me to help dogs become more comfortable, ease their niggles and allows me to give them something back.
I am a keen long distance runner and have always been interested in sports, health and wellbeing of humans and animals. I studied for a degree in Business and Sports Science before working in the consumer healthcare and pet food industries. During that time I knew I had to develop my interest in animals further so I went back to university as a mature student, fitting it in around work.
I became interested in Galen Myotherapy as I was getting to the end of my FdSc degree in Animal Science and was introduced to this treatment. I was deeply impressed by the visual transformations of dogs after a course of treatment and I knew then that is what I had to do. I completed the Galen Myotherapy diploma in 2022 having studied canine anatomy and physiology for over ten years and I am passionate about developing my knowledge and experience with every dog I meet.
I treat dogs all over Jersey in the Channel Islands.
